Coastal fleet research in War Thunder

Coastal fleet covers the small-ship navy trees: fast attack craft, patrol boats, and other shallow-water vessels that sit apart from bluewater capital lines. This section lists nation cards for coastal tech-tree research with a dual Battle Rating calculator.

Coastal trees are typically shorter (often through roughly Rank I–V as shown in the client and on each product). That makes them a different purchase from bluewater — faster to finish a given window, but still nation-specific and BR-scoped so you only pay for the stretch you select.

Available countries mirror the coastal lineup: USA, Germany, USSR, Great Britain, Japan, Italy, and France. Open the nation you sail, set current BR and target BR, then add premium / vehicle-info / priority options if you need them.

When coastal is the right hub

Choose this page when your unlock goal is the coastal line itself. If you need destroyers and larger warships, switch to Bluewater Fleet Research. Do not expect a coastal order to finish bluewater vehicles, or the reverse.

Players who only want spendable Research Points without locking to navy should use Research Points Farm. Army and aviation progress stay under Army Research and Aviation Research.

Before you order

Check the product Requirements: account access, hangar readiness for ships in the selected BR band, and any notes about premium time. After checkout we confirm the coastal window and farm the main line until that target is covered under the service terms on the card.
